Holiday Lounge hosted its first overseas conference in Paphos, Cyprus at the Athena Beach Hotel, here is the day to day summary of our event!

After our early morning flight, we arrived (to a very windy!) Paphos before making our way to our stunning conference venue, Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel. Jet2 very kindly sponsored our transfer to the hotel
Upon arrival, Celebrity Cruises sponsored our lovely drinks reception, before we checked into our rooms to prepare for our first night
We headed to an amazing local restaurant for our evening meal, sponsored by Wendy Wu, where we had a lovely meal and a great evening.

Day 2 of the HL conference started with a morning of presentations and motivational speeches from our various sponsors and speakers including Blind Dave OBE and George Stelianou, Mayor of Kissonika Village here in Paphos.
During the afternoon, our sponsors and key suppliers hosted breakout sessions around the room for our staff memberโs. (Shots were also included at various stations )
In the evening, our lovely conference venue, Constantinou Bros Athena Beach Hotel, hosted a Toga Party for us. What an incredible evening started with local dancers, who got us up dancing around the room to traditional Greek Music. We had an amazing array of food cooked for us outside on the BBQ and served by our dancing waiters!

Day 3 of the Holiday Lounge conference started with a tour of the stunning 5* Adults Only Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel – a short walk along the promenade from the Athena Beach Hotel.
We then headed into Paphos Old Town through the village of Geroskipou where we were shown a few of the sights before stopping for a stroll around the local markets. We then stopped at the home of Arts, Crafts and Traditions in Paphos called โThe Placeโ where they create homemade gifts, traditional pottery, painting and also sell local wine. We had the opportunity to sample some of these, including local traditional food.
From there, our final stop was Paphos Harbour where we had some free time to explore. A few of the team visited Paphos Castle whilst some chose to visit a local restaurant for some refreshments. A big thank you to Sandals Resorts for sponsoring our morning excursions.
After our morning out and about, we then had a tour of the 4* Superior Adults Only Athena Royal Beach Hotel and were hosted for a lovely 4 course lunch overlooking the pool area and sea. 
Once we had enjoyed our lunch, our sponsors, If Only, took us for a game of Bowls on the hotels own Bowls Green. This was certainly lots of fun and very competitive!
The evening was time for our Gala Night, the hotel provided a pre dinner drinks reception followed by a gorgeous 4 Course Dinner. Throughout the night, we announced our Holiday Lounge Special Recognition Award – won by Team Birstall and our Employee of the Year Award – won by Eva Bancroft
We had another superb evening and finished off by enjoying listening to our very own in house DJ, Zoe Moss on her decks!
