In August I joined a seminar at sea on board Royal Caribbeans largest cruise ship, Legend of the Seas. This amazing ship takes 7600 passengers.
We boarded at Barcelona Cruise Port. Our itinerary included Palma Majorca, La Spezia for Florence and Pisa then finally Rome.
We were lucky to be allocated a balcony cabin. The cabin was spacious with twin beds, a sitting area and good sized bathroom with a walk in shower. There was plenty of storage space.
The Ship is stunning and a fantastic choice for family’s with children of all ages. Legend of the Seas has the largest waterpark at sea with seven pools with six amazing waterslides. There is also Spashaway Bay which is a splash area for younger children. There are plenty of other activities to keep you busy including mini golf, rock climbing wall, laser tag and ice skating. The kids and teen clubs are fantastic.
There is plenty to do in the evening with Broadway style Musicals, high diving aqua shows, live music venues and themed clubs. I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory which was one of the best shows that Ive seen.
There is a good choice of restaurants. The main dining room with multi course international meals, The Windjammer Market Place buffet also a good selection of fast food spots and cafes. There are several Speciality Dining restaurants that you can book at an additional cost.
The service is excellent. Nothing was too much bother. A five star experience and a perfect choice for a family holiday.
