In June this year, I had an amazing 6 nights in the Maldives with Kuoni Holidays.

The first Island I stayed at was Niva Kuramathi. This Island is perfect for both couples and families. With an excellent complimentary kids club and also plenty of organized activities for teens.

For the adults they have a Champagne Loft and a stunning Spa.

I stayed in a beach villa with direct access to the beach and sea. There are also water Villas and 2 bedroom beach houses perfect for groups or families.

With 9 a la carte restaurants giving you incredible choices.

Our next stay was Ananea Madivaru. Spanning across 2 islands, there is something for everyone. Every villa has their own private pool, and the Island even features 3 bedroom beach and over water villas equipped with a full kitchen which is rare in the Maldives.

There are 9 restaurants from International buffets to speciality overwater dining. The spa was beautiful and also offered group fitness and yoga sessions.

The evenings were really special with live music on the beach surrounded by candle light.

I stayed in an overwater Villa which was an amazing experience. From your own private deck you could watch Manta rays, Whale Sharks and other beautiful fish.

A beautiful 5 star experience.

The last Island that we stayed at was Outrigger Maafushivaru. My favourite. This Island was small and intimate with a personal service. It has an excellent choice of International dining. In the evening you can even watch a movie on a large screen while sitting on the beach.

There is a quirky treehouse Kids club. Although they don’t offer loud evening entertainment they do have other activities you can enjoy in the evening. The spa is world class. The resort also really focuses on wellness with Yoga, sound healing and fitness classes.

Again I stayed in a beautiful over water villa with a private pool.

To travel between the Islands we either took a speed boat or a sea plane which again was an amazing experience.

I did a few guided snorkel trips. The coral reef is fantastic with plenty of marine life to explore.

Overall I can honestly say that the Islands that I visited were complete paradise. The one thing that will always stick in my mind was the turquoise warm sea and pure white sand.
