Fam Trip Report: Maldives 13 Nov 25 – 18 Nov 25.

13 November: Heathrow self check in and clearing security was quick and easy.

The Virgin overnight flight to Male was comfortable and good service.  Arrival in Male was swift and a short mini bus ride to the Seaplane. We were put into a Lounge as we had a 3hour wait, snacks, soft drinks were provided free of charge.

Meedhuparru

A 5-star, all-inclusive resort located in the Raa Atoll, about a 45-minute seaplane from Malé. It’s a larger island with plenty of facilities and a relaxed but polished vibe.

  • Family Villas (great for kids)
  • Prestige Water Villas (more luxury, adults-oriented)

🍽 Food & Drinks

Multiple restaurants (buffet + Indian + Mediterranean + café) and several bars.
All-inclusive covers meals, drinks (incl. many alcoholic options), snacks.

  • Great house reef for snorkeling
  • Diving, watersports, excursions (dolphins, sunset cruise, fishing)
  • Spa, gym, tennis, pool
  • Kids club for families

  • Good reef, good food variety
  • Easy all-inclusive experience
  • Ideal for both couples and families

I was accommodated for 03nts in a Spacious Beach Villa enabling to enjoy the facilities the hotel had to offer, eg Snorkelling, Kayaking and paddle boarding.

The hotel had a relaxed but friendly vibe with evening entertainment and mixed clientele.

16 November:

Speedboat transfer which took approximately 10 minutes to our 2nd Hotel.

From arriving on the hotel platform you instantly knew luxury awaits.

  • Water sports, sunset cruises, and excursions.
  • Over-water spa, yoga, fitness, tennis.

  • High-quality all-inclusive experience.
  • Great food variety and service.
  • Beautiful lagoon and modern villas.

I was so privileged to stay in a Water Villa for 02nts, it was out of this world.

This hotel had a more relaxed feeling and low key entertainment. The dining options were all high quality.

Once again lots of water sports, snorkelling available.

We were taken on a Dolphin Safari and very fortunate to see a huge pod of Dolphins.

Conclusion.

I would like to thank Holiday Lounge for enabling me to experience lasting memories and If Only, Tracy for hosting such a wonderful trip, allowing the group to get the feeling how to holiday in the Maldives.

The Maldives exceeded my expectations it was pure Paradise, instantly making you feel relaxed but enough to keep you occupied.

This trip will help me immensely sell the Maldives and highly recommend If Only.
