I was fortunate in the last week to stay at the new Iconic landmark of Dubai Atlantis The Royal. ‘ The Most Ultra Luxury Experimental Resort in the World’
Situated on the Palm next to its sister hotel Atlantis The Palm, this is truly a breath-taking hotel , 3 swimming pools The Royal Pool for families, The ‘Club like feel’ of Cloud 22 set on the 22nd floor with its infinity pool looking over the Palm towards Dubai, and the famous hotel and restaurant chain Nobu has its very first ‘Nobu by the Beach’ pool and restaurant.
Along with its sister hotel it has 17 Restaurants, the ones in The Royal are the Michelin Star ‘Dinner’ by Heston Blumenthal which as we found is ‘theatre in a restaurant’ and the Michelin Guide restaurants of ‘La Mar’ (Peruvian), Jaleo (Spanish) , Milos (Greek) and ‘The Arabian Persian Kitchen ‘ (Arabic).
You have Free access to The Atlantis Waterpark , the largest in the world including swimming with Dolphins, and you can visit any of the restaurants in Atlantis The Palm, however if you are staying in that hotel you cannot visit The Royal.
Numerous shops abound in Atlantis The Royal including Valentino. Orlebar Brown and 100% Capri amongst others. A Spectacular recent opening by Beyonce earlier this year sets the tone for this wonderful hotel which is Truly Iconic, Truly Luxurious, Truly Jaw Dropping, Truly Spectacular.
