My thoughts on the QM2.
Excellent Food – Buffet restaurant was very good, which we used at lunch time, but in the evening we only ate in the main restaurant as the food was so good.
Excellent standard of service – Restaurant, cabin staff etc could not do enough for you. The ship was spotlessly clean with fresh flowers all week, even though it was a transatlantic cruise
Suitable for people that enjoy getting dressed up in the evening and looking glamorous.
Brilliant for people that enjoy a first class spa area and spa treatment, which we did experience most days while on board.
A good choice for a special occasion- We were made to feel special the whole time that we were on board – Very friendly staff
Top quality 5* accommodation- The ship was very elegant, different to any cruise ship I have experienced before
Lots of onboard entertainment, good shows, casino lots of choice of bars etc
Based on my experience of the Transatlantic cruise – Very relaxing voyage, the most relaxed we have both felt on a Holiday.
Highpoint of the trip – Amazing view of New York as we sailed away. We enjoyed the experience so much we would do a transatlantic cruise again, it was a nice feeling not having to fly back to the UK and being able to go through emigration while onboard, missing all the queuing at the airport.
