I was fortunate to stay overnight on the Queen Elizabeth which is a fantastic luxury ship with great facilities.
I thought the ship was very elegant, with several aspects reminding me of the QM2 that I have previously crossed the Atlantic on.
The balcony cabin which we stayed in was very similar to the cabin we had onboard the QM2.
The Britannia restaurant was once again the main restaurant, but they do now have the new Veranda restaurant for fine dinning
It has a large outdoor under cover games deck at the back of the ship which includes a croquet lawn, ideal for days at sea during bad weather.
Huge gym with great spa facilities which was bigger than the one on QM2, I liked the chairs (picture enclosed) that you could sit and relax on while looking out to sea.
Lots of shops onboard including an art gallery and a very big casino next to the usual Golden Lion pub.
The theatre was very impressive, with several private boxes that you could hire for the evening.
I would highly recommend the ship, especially for a special occasion holiday and if you enjoy having the chance to dress up in the evenings.
